E-Commerce

🔥 Challenge: “Oops-Proof My Order!”

Ever accidentally ordered the wrong size or forgot to use a promo code? Today, you’re designing a friction-busting confirmation flow for an e-commerce checkout experience that helps users catch mistakes before hitting that “Place Order” button.

Your mission: Build a review step that’s not just functional—but friendly, smart, and totally “oops-proof.”

User Persona

Marcy, 31, mid-tech comfort, shops online regularly but is often multitasking (like chasing her toddler or on a lunch break). She’s quick to tap through checkout—and sometimes regrets it later.

Constraints

  • Must be mobile-first

  • Limit the screen to 1 view (no long scrolls)

  • Include: item summary, shipping, total cost, and at least one proactive error catch (like duplicate item, missing info, etc.)

Bonus

Add a micro-interaction (animation or haptic feedback idea) that reassures users when they fix a mistake.

Suggested Tools

Figma, Protopie, LottieFiles, or Pen & Paper (sketch it old-school!)

Brand Vibes

Etsy for warmth and friendliness, Google Pay for clarity and efficiency.
