🔥 Lost & Found

Design a Lost & Found mobile app for a bustling city. The app should help users quickly report lost or found items, browse reports by location, and contact each other safely — all without feeling overwhelmed.

User Persona

Samira, 29. Freelance Photographer. She’s constantly moving across the city and once lost her camera bag — finding trustworthy info quickly is her biggest need.

Constraints

  • Must have a simple 3-step report flow (Report → Describe → Submit).

  • Include filters like “Today”, “This Week”, “Near Me”.

  • Prioritize privacy (users shouldn’t have to reveal personal info directly).

Bonus

Add a “Proof of Ownership” step before item hand-off (e.g., a secret code, photo verification).

Suggested Tools

Figma or Sketch, LottieFiles (for micro-interactions), Mapbox (for location services)

Brand Vibes

Think Duolingo meets Nextdoor — playful but trustworthy vibes.

Tip

“Design is intelligence made visible.” — Alina Wheeler.

Keep it smart and light — don’t make lost users feel more lost in the UI.
